Today I was telling my Estonian bud that this is maybe my favorite thing about Finland, that it’s so restful to my introvert-nerves, except I occasionally wish that while perfect strangers weren’t TALKING to me, they were just smiling distantly instead of scowling distantly (DEAR FINLAND, :} > :|, jsyk). She said she thinks she would like living in the US South.
