Day 6: Favourite Movie Adaption

Again, a rather difficult choice. In the end it was between this one, and the Pride and Prejudice adaption of the same year, but I decided on this one mostly because I think it doesn’t receive all the love that it really deserves.I cannot find anything not to love about this adaption. The cast is perfect, the scenery is lovely and it remains true to the book throughout the entire thing. I’ve heard people say they don’t like this one simply because the actors are not good looking enough, and that really annoys me. Partly because I think that both the leading actors are gorgeous, but mostly because I hate that that should matter so much. Amanda Root is brilliant in this.
So yes. Favourite adaption.
