This Mini ITX-sized Tardis-shaped housing is officially licensed by the BBC (which means it has been vetted for quality). It’s made from aluminium and boasts fan-like attention to detail - pewter moulded handles that, working roof beacon and exact replica signage in keeping with that of the BBC Doctor Who team.Size wise the case sits at 25cm x 25cm, standing 43 cm to the roof beacon. The case itself weighs a slight 7.9kg, which the makers claim makes it lighter than a standard PC. (A claim which obviously does not factor in the size of my cooling system!).‘Feature wise’ the front-facing ‘Police Public Call Box’ sign hides a DVD/Blu-Ray disc tray, whilst the back sports the holes for multiple USB, Ethernet, VGA, DVI, audio (including digital audio) ports, and grills for two small sized fans.
